Baranduda Range Ramble Grade 3 5km Walk

Hi all Ive changed the route for this walk to try and fit in with Roxys open hours and to allow some flexibility for extending the walk

Meet at 4 Jamison Drive Baranduda 10-45 am - or at Roxys 19 Dokic Way, Baranduda, VIC 3691 at 11:00

parking available both places

This will be an undulating circuit walk of a minimum of 5km or up to - actual course will depend on group capabilities

Features great views of the Leneva and Kiewa valleys - treasure the opportunity

One day these valleys will be wall to wall houses

Aiming to get to Roxy’s 19 Dokic Way, Baranduda VIC 3691 for coffee/tucker at about 11am - a car shuffle may be required

GRADE 2

No bushwalking experience required. The track has a hardened or compacted surface that may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps.

GRADE 3

Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. The track may have short, steep hill sections, a rough surface and many steps.

Bushwalk - Day hike - What to bring  

• Up-to-date ICE (In Case of Emergency) form ICE Form
• Water - up to 2 litres recommended for a full day walk
• Sunscreen
• Gloves and hat
• Sufficient food bearing in mind the distance and duration of the event 
• Suitable clothing and footwear - note denim pants are uncomfortable
• Wet weather waterproofs - jacket and pants
• Walking poles
• Gaiters
• Whistle
• Basic first aid kit, including your specific medication, eg asthma inhaler
• Torch or headlamp for contingencies
